Totally practical, right? ;) They're made out of thick acrylic so they're glossy. The green apple matches my actual button perfectly, but the round one is slightly lighter. I probably should have darkened my colors a little before having it printed. The photograph ones turn out really well too. Here's one from the wedding.
You can get them as stand-up sculptures or key chains and things too, not just magnets by changing the style/size in step 2. They'd be fun little Valentine gifts with pictures of your sweetie or kids. Here's a link if you want to check them out.
